Question: Are there really small business grants available for women?

I have heard that women might be able to get some capital to start a business but I have no idea where to go to see if I would qualify. I see a million places on line but I think they are all just out to give you information that you can find yourself if you know where to look....?

Go to grants.gov/ and follow the instructions. You will find that unless you are in basic research or daycare, there are no grants for a small business.

There are grants available to anyone. look under govt grants

Generally......No...unless they are at the local level. 99.9999% of all grant websites are SCAMS.

There are grants available if you are operating as a non-profit organization. Check with your local Small Business Administration (SBA) Office.
