Having a business degree and being an entrepreneur are two completely different things. Things are all nice and pretty in the theoretical world, but in the real world, all the book knowledge does not mean much. If she wants to open a business, go work for a similar business, learn the ins and outs, what to do and not to do, save a bunch of money, and go open a business. On a side note, if she cannot figure out how to pass an online class, then negotiating the laws, regulations, quirks, requirements of any business is going to be a lot more difficult. The only exception would be if she just has some sort of blind spot to what is going on, maybe with calculating derivatives or insurance or something like that. Unlike a class, in business, you mess up, the other side will come and get their money. |
