Question: Liability insurance for small business?

How much for good liability insurance for a bar? I am located in California, specifically Santa Barbara City.

It depends wildly on what KIND of bar, the liquor receipts, and if there's a dance floor or other entertainment. Budget $10,000 to $15,000 and you'll be ok.

Depends on a lot of factors. Size, revenue, location etc.... I would say the average is around 10000 I have found it is best to buy from a small out of town agent. This gets you the best rates. Liability is the biggest concern soooo, the more you can convince them you have bouncer and dont serve minors the lower your rate in the long run.
