Should i get a degree in accounting, finance, information rechnology or business?

Question: Should i get a degree in accounting, finance, information rechnology or business?

(Posted by: (Nickname) on 2008-11-06 18:22:08)

I took an accounting class and I hated it but it is a good job. I love fiannce. I love computers but dont know if I can learn all the languages and stuf. I love business. I want to stay close to home and get a 2 year degree then go find a job related to said degree and wait a year and continue college to get a 4 year degree or higher. Which one of those should I get a degree in? Please factor in money and ease of getting a job with no experience. Please support your answer and thanks :)

First you must realize your career plan is flawed. Be aware that only a very few of the courses you take at a 2 yr college will transfer to a 4 yr college and the few that do will be general education courses, like english, math, history. You need to research the 4 yr college to find out which courses from the 2 yr college they will accept. Your not going to find any quality jobs with just a 2 yr degree in business. I know of employers that require a minimum of a 4 yr degree for a customer service rep.
