Can I buy individual health insurance for myself, instead of group insurance as employees 2 are already insured on their own.

Yes, you can, as long as you are insurable. Contact a local agent that works with all of the major companies in your area. The agent can find the best plan for your situation and budget. Stay away from plans that promote "group insurance for the self-employed " as they are still individual plans and are just marketing gimmicks designed to make you think you are getting a better deal.
