Question: Are braces a good investment? should i do regular braces or invisalign?
(Posted by: ducktapeclubmix22 on 2008-11-26 15:36:30)
I've been told over and over again that I don't need braces, but when I look in the mirror, my teeth are not as straight as I would like them. If I do get braces, I don't if I should do the braces braces or invisalign. |

BRACES! Ask your orthodontist if they provide their patients with In-Ovation R or In-Ovation C brackets or maybe even In-Ovation L. Self ligating are the new step to a better smile! In-Ovation Brackets give you this fast, better, more comfortable experience. Invisalign doesn't. Do not get them they are: Uncomfortable, not exactly clear, expensive, getting dirty, take long, need constant tray aligners and cut your gums and are very painful. |

I would personally get braces..I have them. I have heard that invialign only gives you a 80% satisfaction..but that is just what i have heard. So good luck!! |

I had braces, and I think it was worth it. I'm not self-concious about my smile anymore. I think if it makes you feel better about your smile or just yourself in general, then its worth it. I really can't give an opinion on the whole braves vs invisalign thing, I've only had braces. Good luck :) |

Invisalign-pros 1. less noticable You Can take them out. easy to clean teeth cons. more expensive braces. pros might do better job .cheaper cons. cuts your mouth up sometimes you have to use wax in the beginning. harder to clean teeth. and others can see ur having somthing to fix ur teeth |

Yes, they are a good investment. If you feel they're not as straight as you would like them then you should check into getting braces. I would go with the metal braces. |
