Retirement

Question: My friend get sick benefit she is 58 will she get it when shes 60 after the retirement age.?

She suffers from depress en and asthma and has week kidneys.and needs constant care but thinks her benefits stops when she reaches retirement age at 60 is that correct.

I'm not sure what kind of sick benefits you are talking about but if it is social security disability she will continue to get it even after she turns 60. My brother in law gets it and he is 60 now. My other BIL is 62 and he still gets it, he has seizures. Once you are approved you get it the rest of your life unless they find out you are not disabled (like you get it for a bad back and they catch you painting a house for example) She will continue to get disability as long as she is disabled. I'm not sure but I don't think she will get social security from where she worked when she turns 63 but she will get disability.
