Question: Out of curiosity, which is closest to travel to from tokyo? chiba, saitama, or kanagawa?

I am wondering which is closest to Tokyo. I am writing a story, and this information would be beneficial to writing it. If so, could you also tell me how long it would to take to travel to each place from Tokyo? Thank you in advance for your answers! :)

Not much difference each other and it seems just all are relative one by one. You are asking as same as which is the closest to travel to from L.A? Orange, San Bernardino or Ventura ? How long? blah blah blah. It depends on what part of Tokyo and all those places are you talking about.

If you mean "from Tokyo Station ", it would be Chiba. All three prefectures are adjacent so you have to set the exact point from where. If the point is Shinagawa, for instance, Kanagawa would be the closest. If the point is Itabashi, on the other hand, Saitama would be the closest.

Look at this map. en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ File:Regions_and_Prefectures_of_Japan.svg Tokyo is sharing borders with all of those 3. So it depends on where in Tokyo you mean. Saitama is north of Tokyo. Kanagawa is south of Tokyo. Chiba is east of Tokyo.
